Since then, it has become a global non-profit organization and the world's largest and most active community dedicated to inspiring women to excel in technology careers. One city at a time, Women Who Code spread around the world, reaching more than 20 countries.
Code First Girls has become the largest provider of free coding courses for women in the UK, having delivered over £40 million worth of free technology education and teaching three times as many women to code as the entire UK university undergraduate system!
Women currently hold 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less money than men. SheCodes bridges the gender gap in the tech programming industry by providing knowledge that is becoming necessary in today's increasingly technological job market.
Django Girls is a non-profit organization and a community that empowers and helps women to organize free, one-day programming workshops by providing tools, resources and support. They are a volunteer run organization with hundreds of people contributing to bring more amazing women into the world of technology.
